Asymptotic theory and homorphically avoided structures
Abstract:
(joint work with M. Bodirsky) Given a class F of finite structures, we consider $\mu_n$, the uniform measures on elements of F with domain $\{1,…,n\}$. We study how this measure behaves when n goes to infinity, and more specifically we ask: what are sentences whose probability converges, when is this limit non zero? I will present results on graphs and directed graphs, in particular on classes of graphs avoiding homomorphic copies of some (di)graphs.
